Our take

SpotDB is a small Go/DuckDB sandbox for letting agents upload CSVs, list tables, and run SQL against ephemeral data instead of production databases. The implementation is real, with MCP handlers, REST endpoints, tests, CSV-injection checks, and a Docker/OCI distribution path. The caveat is packaging maturity: the registry entry is older than the repo's server.json and the README still points users through a local server plus mcp-remote.
