Our take

A single ~7 MB Rust binary that connects assistants to MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or SQLite with no Python, Node, or Docker required — schema discovery, read/write queries, DDL, and explain, plus a read-only mode that hides the write tools entirely. The zero-dependency install and stdio/HTTP dual transport make it one of the more pleasant local database servers to set up. Young project (org created March 2026) with a small community, but real CI, a docs site, and steady releases.
