Our take

Solo-maintained TypeScript server over the CoinCap v3 API with category-prefixed price, market, asset, and candlestick-analysis tools, output schemas with structuredContent, and both stdio and streamable-HTTP transports. A CoinCap API key is now mandatory (free tier exists) after CoinCap killed the v2 API, and it wants Node 22.14+. Steadily maintained since January 2025 with tests, semantic-release, and genuine adoption (~1,900 weekly npm downloads), but it is one person wrapping one data provider, read-only — no trading, no on-chain data. For anyone who wants quick crypto price and market context in an agent.
