Our take

The official hosted Airtable MCP server, running on Airtable's own domain under the DNS-verified com.airtable namespace. It's an OAuth-protected streamable-HTTP remote — no local install, no personal access tokens pasted into third-party wrappers, which is exactly how a first-party database connector should work. Closed source and remote-only, so you're trusting Airtable's implementation, but that's a far easier ask than most of the unofficial Airtable wrappers it obsoletes.
