Our take

ArcadeDB ships MCP as a built-in server feature, so agents can query a multi-model database that speaks SQL, Cypher, Gremlin, and vector search from one engine — the ~1k stars are for the database itself, not a standalone MCP project. The appeal is consolidation: if you're already running ArcadeDB (or want graph + document + vector without three services), the MCP endpoint comes for free with the server. Niche compared to the Postgres crowd, but a mature, actively maintained codebase dating to 2021.
