The MIT-licensed Python server code, pip and npm SDKs, and docs all live in the repo and it is actively pushed, but this is a single-maintainer project and every query routes through the author's hosted endpoint at api.contrastcyber.com, so factor in availability and data-handling risk. For security analysts and agent-driven vulnerability triage that want authoritative-source lookups (NVD, CISA KEV, FIRST EPSS) without account friction.
