Our take

Genuinely interesting MySQL tech: dbtrail tails the binlog and keeps every row change searchable, so you can query AS OF a timestamp, generate exact reversal SQL for a bad UPDATE, and even reconstruct cascade-deleted child rows. The core is real open source (Apache-2.0, active CI and releases, pushed this week). The MCP listing is a hosted remote that returns 401 without a dbtrail account, so the agent integration is gated on their service rather than the OSS binary.
