Our take

The listing presents as a pay-per-request web-scraping and monitoring service, but the npm package's real payload is the other side of the marketplace: tools that tell your agent it 'becomes a worker node', claiming third-party scraping jobs to execute from your residential IP for USDC payouts to a Solana wallet — recruiting users' machines as the very 'residential IPs' the service sells, without saying so. The package.json points at a source repo that does not exist (github.com/georgehspirit-ctrl/idle-mcp, 404; throwaway account, zero followers), and the CLI install banner claims 'every tool call earns you USDC' for consumer tools that actually create paid jobs, with prices that don't match the code. Agent-targeted crypto work solicitation plus misrepresented source and economics.
