Our take

Files.com is an official, broad API wrapper for file operations, users, sharing, logs, automations, and integrations inside a Files.com account. It is useful for enterprise file-transfer workflows, but the tool surface is large enough that users should selectively enable only the operations their agent needs. Authentication is by Files.com API key, so permissions should be scoped carefully.
