Our take

Five tools that score a codebase's 'build readiness' locally — project scan, OSV dependency check (only package names/versions leave the machine), test execution, curated code-review prep, and a weighted 0-100 score across six dimensions — and the local-first claim holds up in the Apache-2.0 TypeScript source. The numbers do not: repo and npm package were both created 2026-07-01, yet ~921 downloads registered within the first three days against 0 stars, 0 watchers, one contributor, and an owner account (created May 2025) with no other footprint — bot magnitude, not adoption. The README is also a funnel: this 'free preview' upsells the Obra CFO sibling and a paid Skool community where 'the method and the deep versions' live, which is exactly what manufactured download counts are meant to legitimize. For founders curious about diligence prep the tool itself may be harmless — read the source and ignore the popularity.
