Our take

PDF Kit is a narrow BaseStation wrapper focused on AI-assisted PDF form filling. The current npm package exposes one concrete tool, `basestation.create_autofill_job`; merge, extraction, and splitting are described as coming soon rather than present. Useful if that hosted autofill workflow is the job, but it is not yet a general PDF toolbox.
