Our take

Full Datadog API surface as MCP tools — all 699 of them, auto-generated from the OpenAPI spec. That completeness is also the problem: 699 tools will swamp most agents' tool selection, so this suits programmatic filtering more than dropping straight into Claude Desktop. Real generated code with API-key and OAuth2 auth, but Datadog's own official MCP server is the saner default for interactive use.
