Our take

The Val npm package appears to contain a real Playwright/Lighthouse-based QA MCP server, but the registry repository points to a separate GitHub Action repo that does not contain the MCP server source. That is a registry-to-repo mismatch, so users cannot audit the submitted server through the advertised repository. The package also phones home for license validation and has opt-out PostHog telemetry, which would be acceptable if the source linkage were honest.
