Our take

Official MCP server for MailKite, a commercial transactional-email SaaS: 40 tools generated from their API contract covering sending over verified domains, DNS and domain management (including buying domains), inbound routing, webhooks, templates, contact lists, broadcasts, and giving an agent its own inbox. Runs via npx with an API key or management session token, or as a hosted OAuth remote; all real functionality lives behind the paid MailKite API, and this repo is an explicit read-only mirror of a private monorepo with no license file and no development happening in it. It is extremely young — the GitHub org, this mirror, and the npm package all appeared in late June 2026 — so the ~1,200 downloads/week for a two-week-old package with zero stars likely reflects the vendor's own CI and mirrors more than organic adoption. Tools like domain registration and mass broadcasts are consequential writes an agent can trigger, so scope keys carefully. For teams already on MailKite who want agents sending mail and managing routing; everyone else is betting on a brand-new provider.
