Our take

MultiMail gives agents a real email mailbox with explicit oversight modes, approval gates, signed identity headers, and both hosted remote MCP and local stdio options. The tool surface is large, covering inbox, sending, approvals, account setup, billing, spam handling, contacts, and webhooks, so it is more of an email operating layer than a simple SMTP wrapper. The main caveat is product lock-in and trust: your agent email flows through MultiMail unless you self-limit to the local client patterns they expose.
