Our take

A local speech-translation MCP server for English/Mandarin workflows: Whisper-style ASR and Piper TTS run locally while translation goes through Claude. The implementation is real and small, with audio, ASR, TTS, and translation modules plus tests. Caveat: it downloads model/binary assets into a user cache at runtime and requires local audio dependencies plus an Anthropic API key.
