Our take

Native Safari automation for macOS agents, using AppleScript/WebKit plus a helper binary to drive the user's real logged-in browser. The package implements a large browser-control surface and its postinstall is limited to macOS codesigning plus a banner, not MCP config mutation. The owner has many forked awesome/list repos around launch, but sampled default branches did not show self-insertion, so that remains a distribution caveat rather than a flag.
