Our take

Pane gives agents a way to create a hosted interactive UI, hand the human a URL, and receive structured events back. The MCP package is a thin stdio wrapper around the Pane relay and shares CLI config, so the product value is in the hosted or self-hosted relay rather than the local package itself. Auto-registration creates a local Pane config key on first use, which is convenient but worth noticing in locked-down environments.
