Our take

Provider-agnostic email tools over plain IMAP/SMTP — Gmail, Fastmail, self-hosted Dovecot, anything with a hostname. The security posture is unusually thoughtful for this corner of the registry: sending is disabled by default behind an explicit opt-in, and their hosted variant refuses outbound mail entirely to protect shared-IP deliverability. Real code with tests, but a young operation (the AIWerk account is five months old with 17 MCP repos and this one has a single star), and you're handing it your raw mailbox password via env vars — use an app-specific password.
