Our take

ContextForge gives coding agents a hosted, searchable project memory layer: save decisions, search prior context, track tasks, and sync GitHub context through a stdio MCP server. The implementation and registry metadata line up, and the setup helper is explicit rather than a postinstall surprise. The tradeoff is that the useful path requires a ContextForge account/API key, and the tool descriptions are assertive about when agents should search memory.
