Flagged: ~1,742 weekly npm downloads against two stars and zero watchers, a contributor list dominated by throwaway accounts ('Megatron888-Robot' and 'diophantushau-blip', both created in March 2026 with zero followers and zero other repos), and twin operator accounts (AlgoVaultFi and AlgoVaultLabs) registered ten minutes apart in February 2026 — the registry namespace doesn't even match the repo org. The server itself is a client for algovault.com's hosted trading-signal API (Streamable HTTP at api.algovault.com/mcp): get_trade_call returns BUY/SELL/HOLD verdicts for crypto perps, plus funding-rate arb scanning across seven venues, behind a 100-free-calls/month paywall. The headline self-reported '91.3% PFE win rate' deserves scrutiny: it's measured on peak favorable excursion with a 98.9% HOLD rate, and the Merkle anchoring on Base only proves calls weren't edited after the fact, not that the signals make money. Considerable production effort is visible (38 releases, skills catalog, framework tutorials), but manufactured popularity plus extraordinary unverifiable performance claims on a paid signal service is exactly the pattern a directory should warn about.
