Our take

A Rust port of a plugin-bridge Figma MCP server that avoids the Figma REST API and exposes a large read/write tool catalog through a local Figma plugin. The approach is attractive for heavy Figma automation because it avoids API rate limits, but setup is more involved than token-based servers and write access should be treated carefully. The author credits the upstream design clearly and the repo contains both Rust server and plugin code.
