Our take

A focused read-only SQL Server MCP for schema discovery, bounded SELECT queries, snapshots, and execution-plan analysis. The code has a conservative SQL validator, profile support, and tests around the query/resource behavior, which is better than most database wrappers. It still needs a real SQL Server connection string and the validator is not a substitute for least-privilege database credentials.
