Our take

DOMShell turns a Chrome accessibility tree into a filesystem-like shell so agents can browse pages with commands such as ls, cd, cat, grep, and click. The MCP package includes both stdio and local HTTP entry points and a browser-extension bridge; users must explicitly connect the extension with a local token. It is browser automation, not a files integration, and it is powerful enough that it should be limited to trusted browsing sessions.
