Our take

Local media-control MCP for mpv, covering playback, playlists, browsing, status, volume, seeking, YouTube playback, and metadata tagging. It is practical if mpv, yt-dlp, and ffmpeg are already part of the user's setup, but it gives the agent control over local playback and can write media tags. The implementation is small but complete enough for the claimed surface.
