Our take

fasttransfer-mcp is the companion adapter for FastTransfer, exposing preview, confirmation-gated execution, validation, and supported-combination discovery for database transfers. It depends on an external FastTransfer binary for real execution and otherwise behaves as a planning/preview layer. That makes it useful but narrow, with the main trust decision shifted to the underlying FastTransfer tool.
