Our take

Memory Kernel is a small local-first SQLite FTS5 memory layer with MCP tools for remembering, ingesting, soft-forgetting, searching, and building compact context packs. It is intentionally simple: no vector database, no cloud dependency, and hard deletion is kept out of the MCP surface. The registry is one patch behind PyPI, but the repo and package line up.
