Our take

A genuinely thought-through answer to 'don't hand the agent a connection string': read-only by architecture (no query/execute tool exists), queries compiled from definitions you control, PII tags refused at the tool boundary, and a tamper-evident audit log. The trade-off is real setup work — you index the schema and define metrics before the agent can ask anything, so it's a governed metrics layer, not a general SQL explorer. Early (9 stars) but the engineering is honest.
