Our take

TokenSaver is a practical .NET-oriented MCP server that gives agents compact structural views of C#, Razor, VB, project files, and several text formats before they read full files. The core value is reducing wasteful context reads, especially for cheaper models and large codebases, with Roslyn-backed outlines and minification rather than a vague token-saving proxy. It does include optional telemetry reporting and an explicit hook-install command that writes Claude hook files, but that is a user-run command rather than package-install behavior.
