Our take

Local Python MCP server (stdio) that gives Claude read/write access to your Apple Music account: catalog and library search, playlist creation and editing, recently played, and personalized recommendations across 11 tools. Setup is heavier than most — you need an Apple Developer account with a MusicKit key plus an active Apple Music subscription — though a one-time wizard handles the browser OAuth and keeps both tokens local. It is a solo project with four commits (February–May 2026), clone-and-run only with no package distribution, and the README's install instructions still point at a repo URL that 404s. For Apple Music subscribers comfortable with a manual Python setup.
