Our take

A substantial Git MCP server with native tools for commits, branches, worktrees, tags, stashes, status, and session working-directory management. It supports stdio and local HTTP, and the README documents path validation plus an optional base-directory sandbox. The caveat is breadth: this gives agents real write power over Git repositories, so it belongs in trusted workspaces with clear directory scoping.
