Our take

Small Git inspection MCP for diffs, logs, branch comparison, status, and commit analysis. It runs fixed Git subcommands without shell interpolation and does not need the API key declared in the registry metadata, which looks like stale template residue. Useful as a narrow coding-assistant helper, not a full GitHub or forge integration.
