Official MCP layer for Decodo's (formerly Smartproxy) commercial Web Scraping API, available as a hosted endpoint at mcp.decodo.com or a local npm stdio wrapper (@decodo/mcp-server, roughly 226 weekly downloads), with ready-made tools for Google/Bing SERPs, Amazon/Walmart/Target, Reddit/TikTok/YouTube, and JS-rendered pages returned as Markdown, JSON, or screenshots via modular toolsets. It is a thin client over a paid proxy/scraping SaaS: you need a Decodo account and auth token (free tier caps at 2,000 requests), the headline claims (125M+ IPs, 99.99% success rate) are unverified vendor marketing, and the repo ships no open-source license at all. For teams already paying for Decodo who want agents scraping bot-protected or geo-restricted sites without building their own infrastructure.
