Our take

Local transcription MCP for MacWhisper, exposing a simple transcribe-audio workflow to Claude Desktop. The privacy story is good because audio stays on the Mac, but users must install MacWhisper's CLI and explicitly allow-list readable directories. Registry metadata is behind PyPI, so install instructions may need a current-version check.
