Our take

PowerPoint member of the local-first MCP Office suite, with tools for building, editing, reviewing, and exporting decks. The package is real and substantial, and the allowlist/write-enable/COM gates are the right shape for local file automation. It is Windows-leaning for the full COM-backed feature set, so non-Windows users get a narrower python-pptx surface.
