Our take

A focused Office add-in automation bridge, strongest around Excel/WebView2 workflows: workbook summaries, range operations, charting, page/add-in control, and raw CDP escape hatches. It is clearly aimed at developers testing or automating Office add-ins, not general document editing. npm ships platform binaries without a postinstall hook, which is a cleaner packaging choice than runtime self-modification.
