Our take

Preflight is a focused hosted checker for whether an MCP server is ready for MCP Registry, Smithery, and npm publication. It asks for raw manifest/package contents and returns evidence-backed directory findings, which is a useful narrow dev-tool workflow. The source repo is tiny and static-check oriented, while the live hosted endpoint is the actual published MCP surface.
