Our take

A local database MCP server for PostgreSQL, SQLite, MySQL, and DuckDB with a serious read-only-by-default security model. The repo has tests and adapter code rather than a scaffold, and the DuckDB filesystem safeguards are a useful extra. Still, it is young, so treat the SQL guardrails as defense-in-depth rather than a substitute for least-privilege database users.
