Our take

A thin 225-line proxy exposing gpubridge.io's 30 hosted GPU services — LLM inference, image/video/audio generation, embeddings, reranking — as MCP tools, paid via API key or x402 micropayments. Everything of substance runs on the vendor's servers; the package is just the doorway. Caveats stack up: anonymous operator, repo untouched since March, npm metadata declares a different registry name than the actual listing (io.github.gpu-bridge/gpu-bridge, which doesn't exist), and distribution included one self-inserted entry in a forked plugin registry. Nothing malicious found, but this is an unproven paid service with little accountability.
