Our take

Chart Canvas pairs an MCP backend with a local browser dashboard for charts, tables, Mermaid diagrams, and data-source inspection. The npm package is real, includes the frontend bundle, and the repo fixed stdout contamination after registry publication. It is more of a visualization workspace than a database server, with a local HTTP UI and a heavier dependency footprint than simple chart emitters.
