Our take

Local stdio wrapper for GuruPDF's file-conversion API, covering PDF conversion, compression, merge/split, OCR, and many office/image formats. It reads local files, sends them to GuruPDF's hosted API, and writes completed results back to disk, so the practical caveat is file upload/privacy plus API-key credits. The npm package is small and clean, with no install-time behavior.
