Our take

Lets agents read and send SMS through a user's Android phone over KDE Connect on a local network, avoiding a cloud relay. It is useful for personal automation or local-device messaging workflows, but SMS access is sensitive and the young package should be reviewed for permissions and failure modes before everyday use.
