Our take

Local-first agent memory done the boring, right way: SQLite plus a bundled ~23MB embedding model, running in-process with no cloud, no API keys, and published latency benchmarks you can reproduce with npm run bench. Automatic secret detection on every write is a thoughtful touch most memory servers skip. Small community (single-digit stars) and a solo maintainer, but the engineering is real and the offline guarantee is verifiable — a sensible default pick if you want memory without infrastructure.
