Understand the custody model before touching it: private keys live on the vendor's server (a WordPress wp-json backend at hifriendbot.com), operated by an anonymous GitHub account created the same day as the repo. The npm client is a thin, clean API wrapper and the pricing is disclosed, but you are trusting an anonymous operator's WordPress site with hot-wallet custody — that's the whole risk, stated plainly.
