Our take

The npm package contains a real read-only Git Leaderboard MCP client, but the registry and npm metadata both advertise https://github.com/hrvoje0099/git-leaderboard as the public source and that repository 404s. That leaves users with an active listing whose claimed audit trail is unavailable. Under the source-misrepresentation precedent, the real tarball and live website do not clear the false repository claim.
