Our take

BackGen is a backend scaffolding CLI with an MCP server exposing project init, plugin management, resource generation, seeds, factories, diagnostics, and project info. It has more implementation depth than the metrics suggest, including templates, migrations, presets, and tests. The obvious caveat is blast radius: agents can generate and modify application files, so it belongs in controlled project workspaces.
