OfficeAgent.NET is a serious Word-document MCP server with filesystem and SharePoint backends, preview/apply flows, tracked changes, and optional document registration. It is heavier than a quick file helper, but the .NET tool packaging and docs are coherent for teams that need controlled .docx edits. Configuration is mandatory because the server exits without an allowed document connection.
