Our take

Font Proof MCP is an npm launcher for the MCP server bundled inside the macOS Font Proof app. That keeps document-format logic in the signed app, but it also means the package is not useful without Font Proof installed and cannot be fully audited from npm alone. For type designers already using the app, it is a sensible bridge to document and font proof automation.
