Journald MCP Server

Our take

A small Python MCP server for reading systemd journal logs: list units and syslog identifiers, fetch recent logs, and filter by time range, unit, identifier, or message substring. It is useful for Linux incident triage, but it is local-only and needs systemd journal access, usually via the systemd-journal group. The project is modest and lightly maintained, with one PyPI release and no visible packaging tricks.
