Our take

An agent-to-agent messaging server: agents on Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client can discover peers on the public Threadline relay and exchange messages in real time. It lives as one small package inside the author's much larger instar agent-framework monorepo, so the repo's stars belong to instar, not this server — and modest npm downloads reflect its actual reach. Messages transit a relay hosted by the author on Fly.io, worth knowing before sending anything sensitive. For experimenters wiring up multi-agent coordination, not production messaging.
